We at The Tree House, Inc. would like to thank our community for donating over $500 on #GivingTuesday. This annual and global day of generosity, falling on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, positively impacts families receiving services in every community. In addition to receiving donations to help our mission, #GivingTuesday is important to The Tree House because it gives us the chance to let our community know what our organization is and all that we do for children and families that we serve.
For us here at The Tree House, we have truly experienced the spirit of giving in November, from all the generous monetary donations to donations of full Thanksgiving meals. A special thank you to Corinth United Methodist Church, who not only made a monetary donation but donated TEN full Thanksgiving meals that we were able to distribute to our families. We also had a donation of teddy bears for us to give to the children that come to our organization and JROTC from Winder-Barrow donate much needed office and cleaning supplies. Donations play a huge part in the healing of our families we serve, from the programs we offer, to the toys and other items the children use while at our facilities.
The mission of The Tree House, Inc. is to strengthen communities by reducing the occurrence and impact of child abuse through counseling, educating, supporting, and nurturing children. Our mission would not be possible without the generosity of our community. We want to say thank you to all who have and continue to support The Tree House, Inc.
