Community Outreach

Prevention is an important part of our mission as we try to end child abuse. One of the best ways to prevent abuse from occurring is to understand the dynamics of abuse. Community education is offered by The Tree House, Inc. experts to help individuals in our community learn about the important steps to preventing abuse. The Tree House, Inc. also provides training to community partners, schools, child care centers, churches, civic groups, and individuals in the Northeast Georgia service area. ​​

Community outreach activities: 

  • Educational booths/displays at events

  • Mandated Reporter training

  • Child Abuse 101 training

  • Social Media Safety training

  • Darkness to Light Stewards of Children Sexual Abuse Prevention Training

  • Other training provided when requested
