The Tree House, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce the impact and occurrence of child abuse through counseling, educating, support, and nurturing children and families in Barrow, Banks, and Jackson Counties.

• We work to provide a physical and professional environment that supports the work of the agencies charged with responding to child abuse.
• The work to provide parent education resources to improve family communication, thus reducing the incidence of child abuse.
• We work to provide outreach education to deepen community understanding of causes and consequences of child abuse.

• Child Services - works to reduce additional trauma to the child victims
• Family Services - works to provide necessary skills to increase bonding between parents and their children
• Piedmont Visitation Program - works too provide a safe and nurturing visitation environment for families with children in foster care
• Community Outreach - child abuse education efforts and public awareness campaigns
